Arr what the last two weeks have been!!! It is definitely character building (as I huffed to my husband with my head in the toilet bowl.) I must have picked up the gastro virus, as Codi and Clay had very mild versions of it. However, what made ’shit hit the fan’ was my laziness (which is rare with food preparation), in checking the chicken I cooked. Basically, we were in a rush to get to a bbq and took some meat including the marinated chicken from the butchers with us in a small esky. Our thought was that the meat would defrost by the time it got to dinner time. We didn’t end up bbqing the meat. So I put it back in the fridge the that night. I cooked up the chicken which was really yummy the next day for lunch. That night I was hit with the worse food poisoning on record (according to Clay). Since, I had never experienced this ever up until then. Wow I still can’t eat much a week later. Oh well, like I said “character building”.
